Day 24 and 25

I'm back. But then again, I wasn't gone for that long. My family packed our bags and headed out to Death Valley. While I love adventures, it's good to be home..and to see trees. You'll be seeing pictures from the trip later. For now.... Day 24 and 25 pictures are a study in black and white.I'll do three pictures just because. Enjoy.

     Mist.
On my walk(a beautiful day is the best) I saw the sprinklers shoot up out of the ground and just as the water came misting out, the sun shone on the water and created sun lit drops. :)


Bu the way, you might not see me for a few days. I will be out of town(in the desert) and won't be able to do my posts.:( But, I will make it up and get back on track, I promise!!

                                                            "The Closing of a Door"

This picture is one that is plain yet says so much to me. I have to describe it so you can understand what this picture means. Our family dog Sadie passed away yesterday..this was her blue water bowl. I took a picture of it to show the closing of her life and the closing of that door.  

The leaf in the water has fallen from the tree because it's winter now...so the leaf shows the closing of fall.

Accountability

Today I decided that I have not been taking enough pictures. In fact, before today, my camera

had just sat on my desk for I don't even know how long. That had to stop. Some people do the 365 day picture challenge and post pictures every single day. However, I honestly don't think I can make that kind of commitment.

I came up with a compromise. I'm going to do a 30 day challenge...which is around a month.

This will be a good thing (I hope) for me because it will keep me accountable in taking pictures.

And 30 days doesn't scare me nearly as much as the commitment for 365 days. So, I am going to try really hard to do this. Since it is Decemeber and all, expect lots of holiday pictures. :)

Starting December 5, 2011, the end will be...January 3,2012.

Here I go.
