Washington D.C. part 1

I just got back from an awesome trip to Washington D.C. with a camera full of pictures that I had taken.

I took quite a lot so I am going to try and put my pictures into "parts." 

The weather was sunny (except for the first day of rain/snow) and it seemed that everything in D.C. was so grand and beautiful. Here are the first five pictures of a series that hopefully won't be too long. Enjoy!

Nine. One to screw in the bulb, and the other eight to stand around saying "I can do that."

Mushrooms Mushrooms Everywhere

As a result of the last few days of rain, mushrooms have been appearing EVERYWHERE. In fact, all these pictures of different mushrooms are ones I took while on a walk yesterday. I didn't know there were so many types of different mushrooms. 

Welcome December

Around here we are welcoming December with rain. I'm pretty sure it hasn't rained this much since spring, but I don't mind it. I tried to get a gif of the rain and sadly this one did not turn out like I wanted it to. Lesson to me (and lesson to you) : when taking pictures to turn into a gif, always use a tripod. Anyways, I still wanted to post some pictures of the rain so I decided to post this anyways. You learn from mistakes and they make you better in the long run, yeah? I hope so. Hope you enjoy it nonetheless...
