A Grand Night at the Lobero

This last friday, my sister and I went to see a band called "The Civil Wars" at the Lobero Theater in Santa Barbara. The band is made up of a girl, a guy, and a guitar. 

I've been a fan of them since I first heard their music but seeing them live blew my mind. They sounded better live then they do on the CD...seriously. Their voices blended perfectly and the guitar alone was the only instrument they needed.

 I already want to go back to see them. Here are some pictures I caught at the concert. 

We were in the third to first row which was amazing. :)

  I can't wait until they tour again in my area. I can definitely say that Friday night was a grand night....at the Lobero. 

   

The Little Jack Russell Terrier

I have a little jack russell named Lily who wants to be a human so much. Every night after dinner, sometimes even during, she jumps up in one of the empty chairs around the table and just sits with us as we talk and eat. As we converse, she looks from person to person and when one of us get up from our chair, we return only to find that she has taken ours. She's crazy, she's cute...she's Lily.

Another Glorious Day at the Beach

Hello. It's me. The unfaithful blogger. But i'm back so you don't have to worry. :)

Here are some pictures from a recent trip to the beach. I just snapped pictures of different things that caught my eye..there's always something new to capture so don't think that you've taken all the pictures that can be taken.

I love this picture. Two older ladies were sitting in their car with their curled hair and cute outfits eating KFC. Seriously, so cute. I also love how the bird on their car has made his way into the picture.

My sister's dog Tim Tim didn't really like the water...but always seemed to end up wet.

The best thing about living by the beach...well, is that you live by the beach. So beautiful.Even if there are clouds in the sky and the sea looks gray.

An Oldie

I found this old picture from a year or two ago hidden amongst all my photos on my computer.

I took this with my little Samsung point and shoot. It's exciting to find pictures that you didn't notice, and wonder how you missed them...

Face Time

I took both these pictures with my Sony Alpha 390 and ran them through a color filter/editing system. In both of these pictures, I tried not to make the facial features the focus of the pictures.Enjoy.
